Can I make an Office Background Texture a picture background ?

I want to put some of the texture backgrounds in Office to a photo background
can I do this ?

Bitmaps (.bmp) can be imported into a graphics program and altered, used as
part of a collage, whatever you want to do with them..

Sure, but they're hardcoded into some DLL file or another -- you won't find
a JPG or BMP or whatever image file of them on your harddrive. (You should
have seen me trying to find that stupid green marble one way back in the
days of Office 97! I've since had it confirmed from a contact at MS that
there wasn't any image file for me to find.)

So you need to create an image of the texture and bring that into your photo
editing software.

One easy way to create an image from the texture in either PPT or Word would
be to use File/Save as Webpage. You should get a folder with HTML files and
image files -- the texture image will be in there.
