Can WORD count the number of times a selected word occurs

If I want to know how many times a specific word is used in a given DOC, how
can I ask WORD to search and count the number of usages.

First, find a newsgroup for Microsoft Word Questions and Answers -- it is
easy to end up here, somehow, working through the online interface as your
address indicates was/is the case. This newsgroup is for Q&A about Microsoft
Access database software.
