Commas won't register when keyed in.

When typing MSWord document, first time I key in a comma it doesn't register.
Have to backspace, then it appears. Help!

Sounds as if you may have a different keyboard layout selected in Windows than
what you think/expect. There's a place in the Windows control panel where you
can select languages and keyboard layouts. What all is listed in there? (And
which version of Windows is it?)
