This message appears when I try to create a new autoreport using the tabular
report and select a query name in the text box at the bottom of the "New
Report" dialogue box.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you, Tom. I was using the Access Step-by-Step self-study kit, and this
was driving me nuts. I just signed up for this support yesterday, and I sure
am glad. A lot of time can be wasted when you run up against an obstacle
like this.

I hope you will be there to help me again sometime.

Hi SuzyCue,

Glad to hear that you found the KB article helpful. There are lots of helpful people who
regularly answer Access related questions posted to this newsgroup. So, if I don't happen to be
available, I'm sure someone else who knows an answer will be there to help when needed.

Incidentally, the same steps do not seem to cause an error when using Access 2002 (I tested this
first, before sending my reply).
