dots under words

I have created a simple document of 6 pages. The last six
lines of the page have dots under each word. That part of
the document won't print. What do these dots mean?

The text is hidden. To unhide it, select it and then pull down the Format
menu. Select Font, uncheck the Hidden check box, then click OK.

If the text is "hidden," why do you see it on screen? Check this setting:
Tools menu > Options > View. Under Formatting marks, the Hidden text check
box is checked. Uncheck it if you don't want to display hidden text in
future.
