Error Connecting to Server from Project Professional

I set up my Project Server... and I can access the Project Web Access just
fine. I'm trying to connect my Project Professional 2007 to the server on
startup and it cannot.

I try to login and am getting the error:

Project was not able to connect to Project Server because of the following
error:

Attachment:Maximum retry on the connection exceeded. (ID=0x80004005)

Any ideas? The account is not locked out... I've tried another computer on
the network and it's not getting that error (others cannot login either but
not from this error--from a bad login error... but that's another problem I
haven't sought out yet).

This indicates an access denied condition. Can't tell you why based on the

Jeffman,

I am not sure if you ever got this resolved. In case you did not, I ran
into the same problem. The solution was to make sure I took the
"/default.aspx" out of the MS Account Properties - Project Server URL field
in Project Pro. Once I made the change, everything worked fine.
