hi, !
when you open a file (created in xl-97/2003) with attached custom commandbars
xl-2007 (re)creates those custom commandbars in a file named: excel12.xb
(in a <hidden ?> folder, i.e. c:\documents and settings\<user>\program data\microsoft\excel\excel12.xlb)
from there, every time you open excel, the addins {tab in ribbon} will be there
(even if you delete the original file with the custom commandbars attached)
until you delete this file from your hard drive
(BTW, I think this is the "best way" to transport the traditional 97-2003 menu-bars to xl-2007)
