Format Bar to display a task note to the right

I have a task with a small but important task note. I want to display the
note on the Gantt chart, to the right of the task's bar.

I can follow the steps to format the bar (for example to display it's name),
but it doesn't seem to work for "Notes."

Is it possible to display the task's note next to the bar?

Notes will be displayed up to (1) the first carriage return, or (2) 255
characters.

I typically use the NOTES field to record a wide variety of notes, rarly do I want to print these, they are notes to me the scheudler about why the activity has various attributes, how I came up with the duration, why it is connected to a predeccessor or successor, what the data source was for the manhours etc.

I typically add a text field and rename it Activity Note, then use that to display short text next to the activity bar. Keeps it simple and manageable.
