I want to use a macro activated by an action button within a pps to
open another pps, and close the original pps(that contained the action
button), in the same step.

I can get this to work within ppt but not pps.

Please help.

Confused, and despairing.

Hi,

Macros that are recorded, or even those simply written behave differently in
a window mode than they do in a slideshow mode. Different terminology.
Please look at:

If you want an easy way to handle this download my free Single Slideshow
window add-in available here
http://www.mvps.org/skp/sngsswnd.htm. It will ensure that any point in time
only one slideshow window will be active. It closes the parent window when a
child slideshow window is launched.
