Images become distorted when switching landscape to portrait modes

I have a landscape presentation in which every slide has a clipart image.
All images are rectangular and placed horizontally.
When switching from landscape to portrait modes, the rectangular images are
transposed and placed vertically but now they are distorted because of the
new orientation.

Can this problem be fixed? Is it possible to transpose the slides (when
switching from landscape to portrait modes) without transposing the slide
images?

Thanks.

Hi Spinacia,
right click on the image and select Cut. (you can select everything on the
slide instead of just the image).
Now, switch the landscape to portrait.
Paste back the image. This allows the image to remain the same size becoming
distorted. See if it helps.

Thanks but I am aware of the manual way of fixing it. However, I need a
global solution for a presentation which holds nearly 300 slides.

In addition, the question remains: Is it possible to transpose the slides
(when
switching from landscape to portrait modes) without transposing the slide
images?

Thanks.
