Letters jumping backwards and forward

It is very frustrating to type any text as letters keep on jumping backwards
and forward, causing me to re-type words over and over again. Why is this
happening??
For example when I've tried to type "any" before, the "ny" jumped infront of
"to" etc etc It takes me hours to type a simple letter - please help...

tricky to give advice without looking over your shoulder. The most
generic tips for stuff like this is either bogus graphic drivers, or
(more likely) sensitive notebook touchpads.
