I need to know how or why all of my word documents are gone.

I tried to pull up a word document and saw that I could not access or open
any of my word documents. The "my document" folder just has my music, my
photos (alot of those are gone too) and my video. These folder were not in
"my documents" before. Scannned for viruses using McAfee. Scanned for
spyware using Spy bot. I tried System Restore. I use windows xp home and
Word 2002. Thank you for your assistants in advanced.
