Office XP error "D:/OFFICE1.CAB" 1311

I have problems with functions missing in my MS OFFICE XP
Std for students and Teachers edition. I am told to put my
disc in the D: drive and press <OK> then I get the above
message. "D:/OFFICE1.CAB" source not found. This is
illogical as such a file is a fiction. Now the whole of
Office fails to work, help!

The OFFICE1.CAB file is a hidden file in the root directory of your
Office XP CD. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=325076 OFFXP:
"Error 1311. Source File Not Found..." Error Message When You Try to
Install Office.

Office XP CD. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=325076 OFFXP:
