Please increase font size for Outlook subject line

I have low vision, and I have a terrible time seeing lots of the text used in
Office products.

For example, I have a terrible time reading the small font used for text
used in a word like "Subject" in the subject line in Outlook. I use Money as
well, and there's lot of default Money text that (I believe) is 8 point font
(and low resolution as well). I'm no power user, so it's possible that I
just haven't found how to change this kind of font, but I don't think it's
possible to change, am I right?

If not, why did MS use such small and hard to read font?

I am aware of the screen magnifier. My question is why MS wouldn't increase
the font size at the program level, so that everyone could benefit by looking
at the text in larger font. 8 point font is really small font size for
normal reading, isn't it? Why not 10 or 12?

Thanks!

NOT 12! My heavens, that would be HUGE!!! Plus not everyone has their
monitors set at the same resolution.

BTW - I actually prefer something about a size 8 or 9 for reading.

8 point is perfectly acceptable here.
