Not helpful at all. I am trying to find out the following. I send pdf files
to one note. However each page is pasted on it's on page, and i would like
the whole pdf to copy to one long page on one note.

Try one of the MS Powertoys for importing from the web (I think that'll work
if you're in IE and you're veiwing the PDF)
Or try www.analogreality.com (i think that's the site) You can just straight
print from any application that prints, to onenote (these are printed as
images, so searching is not available)

I agree with this however it copies the each pdf page to one onenote page
each which makes it cumbersome to read.

If you are using the OneNote Image Writer, you have the option of printing
each page to a unique OneNote page or having the content printed to a single
page. The option is available on the 'Advanced' tab of the properties for
the
printer.

Dear D Devlin

How can i thank you? You are brillant. I never even noticed that option. If
i was close to you i would kiss you. Thank you so much, you made my day.

pmfji, but I'd like to try ON Image Writer, too, and I
don't seem to have that feature. A search of the
knowledge base found no documents, and an attempt to
search this forum resulted in a message saying to come
back in a few weeks (?!) The ON help system didn't cough
up anything, either.

Could you point me to some information about the Image
Writer that would let me get it and tell me how to use it?

Thanks,
Elbert

Sounds nice .... but how do I get this to work!? When I print using the
OneNote ImageWriter I have no idea where the document is going. Regardless
of the section I specify it never seems to actually do anything. Like the
print is going to the 'bit bucket'.

Any suggestions appreciated.

It should go into a newly created section at the top of your "My Notebook"
folder hierarchy called "PrintedPages".

I've been emailing back and forth with someone from AnalogReality about this.
For some reason it's not working at all. Even if I set the option to prompt
for the section - nothing happens. It's very strange ....

What happens if you manually create a section called "Printed Pages" in the
root of the "My Notebook" folder?

I just created the 'Printed Pages' section and tried printing again. Same
results - went to the 'bit bucket'.

Do you have a complimicated folder/section/page hierarchy?

Try printing using the AnalogReality utility and then searching in
Windows Explorer for files in your My Notebook folder that have recent
timestamps matching the print time.

Just tried. There's nothing in the My Notebook folder with a date/time
anywhere near the time I tried this. This is really vexing ....
