Can't start Outlook 2000 after upgrading to WinXP pro

I just installed Windows XP pro on my desktop, and every in Office works except Outlook. When I start the program, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library dialog box and the error message: "Runtime Error! Program C:.....Outlook.exe This program has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Any ideas?
