Contact list locks up system

Using Outlook 2000 SP3.
Whenever I try to scroll through the names in my contacts
listing the program locks up and closes.
Is there a way to delete the entire contact list?

That "Contact List" is your Contacts Folder.
You can certainly delete all your Contacts if you want to.
That would certainly fix things. You would then have no address book at all,
so no more crashes.

Should you decide on something less catastrophic that deleting all your
Contacts, then provide more information.
Define more clearly the view in which you are scrolling.
Provide a more accurate version. Outlook 2000 exists as two completely
different programs. Are you using Corp/Workgroup mode or Internet Mail Only?
