Disk or Network Error in Access 2003

I'm going to create a wizard in the very near future for the
utility. Then forms so you can update all the INI parameters using
a GUI.

I thought you already had something that did that?

No, I just have a GUI that does basic stuff regarding the INI files
themselves.

According to IT, the only updates anything does automatically are critical
security patches. Anything else, they do by hand.

Here's an interesting tidbit. During the week before I started encountering
this error, the power had been shut off for a week (we were all told to shut
down our computers beforehand), and the problem went away on its own after
about a week. Over Columbus Day weekend, they shut off power to the building
(again with ample warning to shut everything down) to do some electrical
work. The problem has cropped up again.

IT is still trying to track it down, but since it's random and sporadic, it
has so far resisted attempts to pin it down.

There's always a "rocking chair" type of cause as a possibility, if
you get my drift.
