ERROR : 5530

Hi there,

The mail server is Exchange 2003.

Client is Apple Powerbook G4 w/ OS X (Panther) using
Microsoft Entourage X. Update for Exchange is latest
(10.1.4)

User is accessing via VPN (Cisco VPN for Mac) thru
wireless connection (from home).

When sending email, Error 5530 will occur. Inbound email
seems ok.

Does anybody had this problem and kind enough to share
what is the workaround? Pls pls help. Many thanks in
advance.

Toggling the "SMTP server requires authentication" setting in Advanced
sending options of the account settings may fix the problem.
