Everytime Word 2007 starts it goes into a configuration process?

Everytime Word 2007 starts it goes into a configuration process? It doesn't
do this on other installations? How do I make this stop.

I am also having this problem. Also, every time I close Word, it "encounters
an error" and wants me to restart.

Today, Word gave me a dialog box apologizing for crashing so often, and
suggested a diagnostic check. I did so, but it reported that I didn't have a
box checked in the advanced privacy settings. I DO have that box checked. I
am so fed up I have dowloaded OpenOffice. This is ridiculous.

Did you ever get any help -- I am having the same problem -- it is
irritating. i suspect that it has something to do with the lastest download.

Encountering an error on closing is nearly always an HP printer driver bug.

The solution is to use a different printer driver until you actually need to
print to the HP printer; then switch back to the other printer before
closing Word.

Any rseponse? I get the configuration message whenever I open Word, Excel and
Office Access. Power point is fine. It is annoying. Any answers?
