Hi

I have a web server in california usa, but the database server is in the UK.
What can i do to help the long distance speed. Has anyone got any top tips?

If you are connected by the Internet, you are at the mercy of whatever
routing is taken between those URLs. All I can suggest is that you do
everything you can to minimize the amount of data being transmitted.

It is amazing how many times we only need one record (if it exists) or none
(if it doesn't) for a given form / screen / operation.
