How can I edit a scanned resume sent to word 2000 or xp office?

Hello JoAnn, thank you for replying.

I have epson stylus cx4600, I thought I was scanning with that in
professional mode as it said, but it still cannot be edited. Do you have
anymore info on OCR software?

Thanks,
pblamzy

Sorry, I don't use Canon equipment. I would suggest contacting Canon for
more information about the software - assuming the Help file or owners
manual doesn't give you enough info.

Since at least Office XP, OCR has been built into Office as MS Office
Document Imaging. The source must be a TIF file. It does a very good job on
cleanly printed pages, and even recognizes foreign characters in languages
for which it has spellers (you must specify the language in Options).
