HOW CAN I PUT FOLDERS IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER?

E

Erik Sojka

There is no automated sort with OneNote to do this. You will need to
manually move them into the desired order by right-clicking on the
folder/section tab and selecting "Move". In the dialog box that follows,
select the location to move the object into. If you are looking to manually
sort, you will be moving into the same area where it was before, but the
object will be placed at the beginning of the list. It's not too intuitive
at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty straightforward.

And, please take this as the friendly advice that is intended: don't post in
all capital letters. It is difficult on the eyes and is considered the same
thing as shouting in the real world. ;)

Dear Erik:

I'm amazed that someone answered! I guess I didn't expect that. Sorry
about the capital letters. I'll be careful next time. How do I participate
in the Discussion Group? I put in the email just using the Microsoft site.
Again, thanks for your help and friendly advice.

You're welcome! This group is pretty good about giving answers.

The links to the web interface found on MS' site are one way. You could
also point your newsreader to the server named msnews.microsoft.com.
Outlook Express works fine for this type of group. Search for "NNTP
client" to find others.
