Vinayaka,

This newsgroup is for Microsoft Access (a database application). Suggest you post your question
in a newsgroup dedicated to Excel. Also, there are a lot of very bright women who also answer
questions in this newsgroup....not everyone is "Sir".

I'll take a stab at answering your question....

1.) Start by making a copy of your spreadsheet. Open the copy for editing.

2.) Insert a column next to the column that includes the lower case letters.

3.) Write an equation in the first applicable cell, which references it's lowercase neighbor.
For example, in Cell B1, you can enter the formula:

= Upper(A1)

to convert the lowercase text displayed in cell A1 into uppercase text displayed in cell B1.

4.) Copy the formula down column B as far as needed.

5.) To make the change permanent, select the results displayed in column B. Then click on Edit
Copy, followed by Edit > Paste Special. Select Values. This should replace the formulas in
column B with the uppercase text. You can now delete column A which contained the source
lowercase text.
