how do I continue with numbers on 2nd page ?

I am designing a 3 page document. I am using the number system, but am unable
to continue with the appropriate sequence in numbering as I go to page 2 and
page 3. Please help me with this.

You didn't say what version, but in Publisher 2003, choose Header & Footer
from the View drop down menu.

What version Publisher?
In 2000 and below, view, background, create a text box where you want the number, on
the toolbar, insert, page numbers
Publisher 2002-03, insert, page numbers.
