How do I Transfer Upgrade Version software software to a new comp.

My old computer had MS Office loaded by Dell. I have upgraded it twice. Once
with Office XP and again with Office Professional Edition 2003. I bought a
new Dell and the upgrade software won't load because of an absence of the
upgrade qualifying software. How do I get by this?

Which particular Office package are you trying to intsall on new Dell
PC? Is it Office 2003 or Office XP? Have you got retail upgrade
versions of these packages? If you have OEM versions then you will not
be able to install and activate them on new PC because of restrictions
on OEM packages. Retail versions are OK.

Also, do you know which version of Microsoft Works came preinstalled on
new DELL PC?

Please let have the answers to these questions to advice you better.
