I managed to get this to work following these steps:
- Go to the "Manage add-ins" screen (via File - Options - Add-Ins -
Manage Com Add-ins - Go)
- Remove the "OneNote Notes about Outlook Items" add-in (it was listed
twice on my pc)
- Restart Outlook
- Return to the "Manage add-ins" screen (see step 1)
- Click the "Add" button
- Browse to c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Office\office
14\Onbttnol.dll and click OK
- Restart Outlook
Hope this helps!

Previous Posts In This Thread:
I cannot enable Send To OneNote from Outlook 2010 Beta to OneNote
My Send to OneNote button disappeared after Outlook reported some error when
it started. The error seemed to be related to OneNote 2007, so I uninstalled
Office 2007. But now I cannot get the Send To OneNote button to appear again
in Outlook 2010.
First, it is very hard to find *where* to enable this. I finally found the
AddIn "OneNote Notes about Outlook Items" in the "Innactive Application
AddIns" list. I had to both ENABLE it (under Manage Disabled AddIns) and set
it to start (under Manage COM AddIns).
But after exiting and restarting Outlook 2010 the OneNote AddIn is back in
the Inactive list. I do not find any errors listed in the Application event
log or the Office Alerts event log.
I looked for a "repair" option for Office 2010 in the Programs and Features,
but the only option is to "uninstall". Do I really have to uninstall and
reinstall Office 2010 to fix this problem?
Thanks much!

P.S. t would be nice, could you change the "undisclosed" to your "real

There is just too may "undisclosed" senders :-( :-(
Just look in the original thread (I cannot enable Send To OneNote fromOutlook

It was a real help (back to life with this function!!). I just add that I didn't find the dll file in C: For all those who Office Beta installing program created a Q: partition, I paste where I found it: Q:\140062.esn\Office14\ONBttnOll.dll
