Is Microsoft OneNote a similar program to FileMaker?

Hi!

I'm a student and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if OneNote is the
same kind of thing as FileMaker?

Thanks

Filemaker is more of a smaller-scale database program (as opposed to
larger DBMS systems like SQL server or Oracle). Microsoft Office Access
is more comparable to what Filemaker is.

OneNote is a note taking and freeform information consolidation program.
It doesn't have the formality of a database schema imposed on it (i.e
there are no tables, normalization, ACID, etc.)

If you're a student, you will like it for taking and processing notes
during classes.
