is Visio Pro like the old Visio Techical (schematic symbols?)

Greg @ TRW

I need to generate schematics in hydraulics and electrical. Are the symbols
for these included in the Visio Pro software. The old Visio Technical
offered them for Fluid Power, Electrical and Electronic, Process plant
design, and Mechanical Engineering. Are these templates offered in the Visio
Pro 2003 software?

Thanks,
Greg

So are you saying "YES" to my question.

Another question, Can I get stencils for mechanical engineering, fluid
power, and so on and import them into my current Visio 2000 SR1 6.0.2072 ????
Thanks for responding

Yes they are contained in Pro and if you can get a hold of stencils they
will with Visio 2000 provided they were created for Visio 2000 or a previous
version.

As before, there is only one Visio program, the only difference between Tech
or Pro or Standard is the stencils and Add-ons. Tech and Pro came with
extra stencils and add-ons in addition to what came with Visio Standard. So
you can take drawings created in Visio Pro and use them in Visio Standard.
The only problem is that the drawings will now be dumbed down because Visio
Standard does not have all the add-ons that Visio Pro has.
