Hi =?Utf-8?B?YXdyZXg=?=,
I'm trying to lock a callout to an image. How can I do this with Word 2003??
There's no way to do it the way you're thinking of. But in order to make sure
the two objects move together, you have three choices:

1. Click one, hold Shift, click the other. now Draw/Group.

2. Create a Drawing Canvas and insert both in that. The Canvas will keep them
together.

3. Activate Word's picture editor and draw them in that. Back in Word, it will
behave as a picture. (Picture editor can be found in Tools/Customize/Drawing:
"Word Picture". Drag it to the Drawing toolbar.)

Hi! Yay - just what I've been trying to do, but of your 3 solutions...
1. I can't shift and select a text box (for example) and a picture.
2. I can't paste the picture from my clipboard into a canvas - only save it
as a jpg and then insert it. Unless if I paste in excel, also select a text
box, copy and paste into Word.
3. works fine.
