Make graphics stay in place

I working with Word 2000 and my AutoCAD drawings won't
stay in place. When I save and then reopen them, they're
piled on top of each other. And when I try to format the
picture again its greyed out. How can I make it stay in
place?

Click on the Drawing in Word, the Picture toolbar should appear, click the
Text Wrapping icon (dog icon) on the Picture tool bar, choose "Tight".
