Hi all, this is my first post, so go gently!

I have set up a word doc with a graphic mast head, and a graphic an
    text footer.

I want subsequent pages to just have the footer.

I have looked at the FAQ section, and seen the article on doing this
but I still can't seem to do it correctly.

I realize that I should set up the subsequent pages first, and then d
a different first page, but the problem I am having is gettin
everything in the correct place.(graphics and text)

I would like to just be able to select all and copy and paste, but
have to do the graphics individually and cannot get them correctl
    positioned.

Is there anyone willing to do this for me if I email them my doc?

    Cheers

    L

You set a different first page header. Insert a temporary page break. Put
the masthead in the header of the first page only, and the footer in both
pages. Then remove the page break before saving the template.

  3. You said you looked at the FAQ page but didn't mention which page or which
FAQ. Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or some other document where
you want one header on the first page and a different header on other pages.
    <URL: http://www.addbalance.com/word/headersfooters.htm> This gives
    step-by-step instructions.

    Also take a look at:

Finally, take a look at the letter templates that come with Word. While they
are no great shakes as letterhead, they do use styles and AutoText lists
very well. If you use the same style names that are used in those templates
in your own letterhead for the same parts of the document, you will have
better luck with using the built-in AutoText entries in Word.
