Microsoft Office 2003 Activation Wizard

I have tried numerous times to Activate my Word software oon the Internet by
running the Activation Wizard. Every time a "Communication Error" occurs
indicating my request cannot be processed at this time and to try again in a
few minutes.
There is also an option to activate software by telephone, but I get no
response by clicking on this option.
I NEED to use Word, but it does not work.
HELP!
