Numerous Issues with Office 2003

Greetings All,

I used the Custom Installation Wizard & GPOs to push down
an office setup to a few test computers.

We are encountering a number of problems, including:
1) Click on the Research Button
Get 3 notices of "Can't open thesaurus. Microsoft Office
Word cannot install the necessary files due to Windows
Installer error 1605.

2) Unable to Create a Shared Workspace in both Excel and
Powerpoint
Get error "The action could not be completed"

3) Cannot Add Multiple effects to a Powerpoint animation
Sometimes it'll let us do 2 effects, sometimes 3 before it
just hourglasses.

4) Mail Merge
I have found that users are given the option to create a
Mail Merge for E-mails. After going through most of the
steps, I hit a box that generates an error message if I
try to cancel out of it, then it loops back and won't let
me cancel out of it.

Any help on any or all of these issues would be
appreciated.
