Old "Smart database" convert to Access

I need help on converting an OLD database called, "Smart"
from Innovative Solutions, Inc. We are STILL using the
old Smart system because it is HUGE and we would like to
convert it over to Microsoft Access. Any ideas on how to
go about doing this?

I don't know what Smart is, but my experience has been you will have to
rewrite
the application. If you can export the data from Smart to a CSV, TXT or XLS
file, then you can import the data into Access for your tables.

The value in a rewrite is you and your users know the application so you
have the
opportunity to correct any weakness in the old system.
