Outlook 97 crashing at startup

[Need Help]

Yes, I created a brand new mapi profile,
Deleted all the old profiles
Complete uninstall - entire office suite including MS Messaging
Reboot
Clean install - allowed outlook to create default MAPI profile
Install SR2

Still crashing. I would welcome ANY suggestions.

Have you tried creating a fresh MAPI profile here: Control Panel > Mail
applet?

When the message comes up asking the user if they want to work offline or
connect to Exchange, what do they choose? Are they connecting to an Exchange
server? What's the environment?

I have a user that clicks on his Office 97 icon, a message appears saying
if he wants to connect to the exchange server or work offline. Then soon
afterwards, outlooks comes back with an error saying that: Outlook has
preformed an illegal operation and is writing to the event log. I check
the
event logs and nothing is there.

Already tried to do a reinstall and nothing worked. Is there a removal
took
for 97 that I could run and clean everything out and reinstall?
