Outlook 2003 (11.6568.6568) SP2
I'm using an IMAP account, though this PST was at one time the local
personal folders for an exchange account. I'm pretty certain the PST
was originally created in Outlook 2000.
My (old) existing signatures are still available and still work
corectly. But I cannot get into signatures to add new ones or to edit
the current signatures. The buttons to select signatures or to edit a
new signature are unavailable.
Word is not set as the editor. (I tried turning that option on and
back off, but that didn't help.) The format is set to HTML and there
is no template in use. I've already done a detect and repair, but that
didn't help.
On another forum, I found a reference that indicated you could edit the
RTF or TXT files of the current signatures by going to C:\Documents and
Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
However, I do not have any RTF or TXT. I only have OAB files in that
folder.
Is there a registry edit to allow signatures to be edited? Any ideas
or suggestions?
