I have gone to the suggested folder (Edit Account Special Folders) and removed the 3 checkmarks from under Advanced:

-Store sent messages in this imap folder
-Store drafts in this IMAP folder
-Store junk email in this IMAP folder

No luck. I closed/reopened the app and still got the 1025 error when I attempted to send receive.

I have also have:

Rebuilt Database
Repaired permissions

Please help!

Please help!

Let's do a test Identity.

1) Under Entourage in the Menu bar select Switch Identity
2) Click on New and name it test Identity
3) Enter the IMAP account info and test

Does the account work in the new Identity?

Thanks Diane,

I created a new identity to the best of my abilities and found the exact same error. (Also removed the 3 checkmarks from the advance option with no difference).

Next up I created the email account under another mac computer and found the exact same error. I suspect a server problem but am not sure what to check next.

If I type in the wrong password I get an authentication error and not the 1025.

It is an IMAP server with an IP address.

Not sure what to do next!

Tony.

Another user just reported the 1025 error. It's one of those errors we don't
have much info for a solution.

See if the info works by setting up an account in Apple Mail. If that works,
then try Entourage. I've seen cases where it took something like this to get
Entourage unstuck. Regardless, it will verify if the setting work. If they
fail for two applications, then call your ISP and ask them to reset your
account and assign a new password.

Let me know. We all the info we can get on 1025.

Turns out a exchange administrator move the account from 1 server to another with advising us. As I understand it the account was returned to the original server and now everything is resolved.

Thank you,
Tony
