Powerpoint Slideshow Stops when application isn't active...

This must be by design, but is there any way to disable that?

Here's my scenario. I've got a PC (XP Pro SP2, Powerpoint 2007) that I use
daily for all my business apps & also have a Matrox dualhead PCIe card. I've
got the 2nd monitor running a 50" plasma screen out in a waiting room that
runs a powerpoint presentation about my business... the problem is, whenever
I'm using any application besides Powerpoint, the slideshow stalls (it will
start again if I click on the powerpoint task and make it active.) I want to
work on my computer all day, and just let the powerpoint presentation loop in
the background on my 2nd monitor. Is there any way to get this done???
Thanks!
