Project's Cons vs. pros (vice-versa)????

Recommendations???Thinking of buying a version of MS Project for a small
timber company. Is this program my best option? Why is there so many
conflicts within? Is this common alot?

what do you want to do with it? project is primarily designed as a
scheduling tool for projects not for running a production line.
