I could not find info in the Import/Export area of MS Access, does anyone

You probably have already found it, but in case you haven't:

In Access 03 Importing: I go to "File" / "Get External Data" for linking or
importing tables, spreadsheets etc.
For Exporting I got again to "File" / "Export" :)

Lara, thanks for your reply. Information I found on MS site is that 'the
error has no message', hence my cry.
I guess it has not been clearly defined at this time. It appeared though
the error was pointing at the remote server either some parity or just too
slow in processing time.
Among other things I did shorten the file name and oddly the process went
through smoothly. I'm unconvinced though that the length of the file name
was the culprit.

I haven't had the error since..lol

In what circumstances do you get the message?
