Saving large file

E

Ed Bennett

After managing to set up OE-QuoteFix on his new PC, Ed reads a message
from Leta Mouser said:
How do I save a large Publisher file to multi 3 1/2 inch
floppies?

a) You never save any files directly to 3.5" floppies. You always save to
the local hard drive and copy across.
b) You put Publisher files on multiple floppies just as you'd put any other
files on multiple floppies. Use an archival utility such as WinZip or
WinRAR to compress the files and span them across multiple volumes

In addition to Ed's response, you can also use the Pack
and Go feature:

Go to File > Pack and Go

This feature will allow you to save over multiple floppy
disks. This can be done in Publisher 2000 and newer, and
must be unpacked by the same version or newer.
