Send to OneNote Does Not Generate An Image In OneNote

I am currently trying out OneNote 2007 and like much of what I see. One
potentially great feature, Send to OneNote as a printer, is not working for
me. When I print using the "Send to OneNote" printer, a new page in OneNote
2007 opens up but nothing appears on the page. Any suggestions how to make
this work. I have tried sending e-mails from Outlook 2003 and that works
fine.

Is the new page that appears always a new page - does it have the current
date/time in the header of the page which appears?

What is the location specified in Tools | Options | Send to OneNote for
either the Web Notes or Printout selections? Can you see the location(s)
specified? Try changing those locations temporarily to a specific Section
and try the Send to OneNote function again.

The new page is always a new page with the current date/time in the header.
I did change to a specific section of a particular notebook, as you
suggested, with no change in the result: Nothing shows on the page - which
is always a new page.

If you do a search for some of the text in what you print to OneNote, does
the text get found? I am wondering if the print is working, but if there is
a problem displaying the result. If this is the case, I would check for a
video driver problem.

If the search doesn't work, then the print is not working at all and we will
all have to work in another direction...

I am now at home and working on my home computer. I just tried the print to
OneNote function here (from MindManager) and it worked just fine. Something
is wrong on my machine at work. I will check my computer at work on my
return to see if I can search for the text, but I am doubtful that we will
find anything.

Both machines run XP, although the office machine runs XP Professional and
has a lot of overhead for various corporate functions, although much of that
seems to have been loaded onto Outlook.

Today I checked my work computer and found that nothing allegedly printed to
OneNote showed up on a search. I did notice, however, that my computer did
not show the window that gave a progress report on printing to OneNote, as my
home machine did last evening. I tried running the repair function for
OneNote from the Add Programs option in the Control Panel. That succeeded
only in removing the Send to OneNote printier altogether. I then uninstalled
and reinstalled OneNote 2007 Trial only to find the same result - the Send to
OneNote printer shows as an option and a new page opens in OneNote, but
nothing is printed there. I also noticed that the windows printer window
stays open, as if Windows is trying without success to print. This has
caused the spooler to run continuously until I cancel the print request.

Obviously, something is preventing the add-in from completing the print job,
but I have no idea how to fix this. Help!

Richard A shared these words of wisdom:

Dumb question:
Did you check the "Unfiled Notes" section?
Could it be that the missing results might be there?

Did you check the settings for where the results of "Print to OneNote"
ought to go?
(Tools | Options | Send to OneNote ... )
