Symbol for square or cube

I cannot find any way to show a small 2 or 3 to indicate square or cubic feet etc. I found out how to perform ^ function in formula bar but cannot find a symbol for the small 2 . help! Thanks

Use the Formatting Palette or the Format Cells - Font dialog after selecting
the character to be Sub/Super-scripted. There is no keystroke.

couldn't be added to the auto correct system

say type 3\space then superscript a 3. so when you type it would
automatically super script a 3

Nope - sub/superscript is a formatting attribute just like Bold, Italic,
etc. & AutoCorrect will not change formatting.
