The whole page does not print out

Hi

I am using Word 2000 SP3,
I have created a doc with a single page in landscape
and the page contains just three Autoshape rectangles,
one inside the other.
When I print the document only part of it prints out,
I have tried setting my printer on both portrait (default)
and landscape but nothing seems to work.

can you please let me know how to fix this.

thanks

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

It would be interesting to know what part prints out (top of
page, left, etc.) Also, the best place to ask printing
questions is word.printingfonts.

From my experience, what you're describing indicates that
your printer may not have a enough memory, or that you need
to change some settings in the printers' properties, under
Windows. The group I mentioned should be able to help with
this, but be sure to mention the type of printer you have.

Hi

The area not printing out is dependant on where I set the borders (page
setup)
but even with maximum area inside the borders I cannot get the whole doc to
print out, a side and bottom or side and top are missing depending on the
border
size.
I should have mentioned that Print preview shows exactly what I get, so I do
not thins
it is a printer issue.
I do a lot of Photography and Printing even up to 100Meg tiffs so it cannot
be
memory related, I feel there is something I am missing in set up or views,
but I have not changed anything, since last time I worked in Word and I had
no problems then.
I sometimes have a similar problem with printing photos and that is related
to the size
of the image being too big for the paper being printed on, even though the
graphics
program shows it as a single page on the screen, is there some setting in
Word where
the what you see on the screen as a page is
actually two or more?

Sorry to be vague but I am good at working with photos but very poor with MS
Word.

regards

Daniel

Word uses the printer driver for Print Preview so if what you see
there is not what you get when you print then the first item to rule
out is an incorrect/corrupt printer driver.
