Unexpected data was encountered cannot send email!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

Today and ONLY TODAY I have started to get an Entourage/Exchange email
issue.

If I accept a meeting request the mail does not get sent and I get an error
message of 'unexpected data was encountered and your email could not be
sent'.

Other emails seem to work fine, its only meeting requests currently causing
me grief.

Anyone else seen this?

Oh, I DID install the latest update yesterday, I wonder if that has buggered
things up!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm seeing a similar issue with exchange and meetings. When I try and set up a meeting with invitations, I'm getting the same message, 'unexpected data was encountered and your email could not be sent'. Although I can except meetings just fine.

I also did the update yesterday.

Me too. This just started about 1/2 hour ago. I was able to send messages before this.

On my installation the work arounds do not fix the problem. Specifically if I drag to the drafts folder and try to send from there, I still get the same problem and the recipients do not get a copy of the invite.

We are now experiencing the same problem with our Entourage 2008 clients.

Exchange 2003 Server
Entourage 2004 OK

I'm getting the same issues. I just updated MS Office 2008 yesterday and now I get these -17997 errors. My accepted meeting requests are not sent out and get stuck in the outgoing folder. Entourage 2008 for Mac V 12.1.3 (080930) Last installed update 12.1.3
