Visio 2000 internal error #3400

T

Thomas Szalatzky

Hello,

i'm using visio 2000 on windows 2000 SP3.
While working on a document, hosted on a networkshare i get a error message:
"internal visio error: #3400. Action 1004: Saving"
Visio says close the document and restart visio. The problem is that the
visiosheet ist not yet saved!!
I found nothing at MS Knowledge Base.

Anybody an idea??

Thanx
Tom

Hello
Have same problem. I get this message if paste in document
Excel chart, and close Excel, or don't yet save doc. This
message from AutoRecovery. It try save AutoRec. point and
crush.
Turn off AutoRec, for example or 2nd way. Select Excel
chart and cut it, then Edit>Paste special>metafile.
Digitall.

I get the same error on Visio documents that have an embedded Excel
spreadsheet. When the spreadsheet is being edited, and Visio "Auto Saves"
while it is open, as soon as I click off the spreadsheet to "save" it back
into the document I get the error: Visio Internal Error: #3400 Action
1004:Save

Has anyone found a fix for this yet?

Thanks!

Jerry
