Why won't a project convert to a JPEG?

When I tried saving a flowchart project in a JPEG format
or any picture format, it does not save as a pic. The
picture shows all white space with a small line of text
that is not in the chart. Is this a page set up issue or a
program issue? How do you fix it?

Which version of Visio are you using and what is your operating system?

Make sure you don't have any shapes selected when you perform the save. Just
click on an area of the blank area of the drawing to get rid of the
selection.
