Work Days, Not Calendar Days in MSProject

Dani

I cannot find anywhere where anyone's done this: I don't want to change
working hours, I want to put 'Work Day 1' instead of 'Monday, Jan. 1', etc.
on the MSProject calendar.
I'm trying to map/calc. batch processes for financial systems, and they use
work days for financial closeout (work days 1 - 6 are closeout, work day 7 is
consolidation, etc.)--every month these work days fall on different calendar
days. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Dani,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Tools/Options/View tab - select a Date Format that shows week/day numbers like 1/WO5. Would that do? If so, you can do the same with Format/Timescale.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
