Wrap Text in Publisher 2010

I've tried my darndest, Googled vigorously for solutions, updated Office 2010 & worked through a tutorial from GCF LearnFree.org but I'm unable to get Wrap Text to work. I'm wondering if the problem lies in the fact that when I go to More Layout Options > Layout, Object Position is greyed out. If this is the problem then how do I ungrey it? If it isn't the problem can anyone suggest a solution - if there is one? Or do I accept that as yet Microsoft has been unable to rectify the problem?
